It's that time for GIRL to meet the awkward parents in this purposefully stilted comedy of [continuity] errors.
Alright is a promo video for Brighton Geek-Rockers, The Magic Gang. It follows the tropes of a family sit-com with a naive storyline and ad-hoc characterisations - yet - captured in with a cinematic lick to put a crooked spin on the comedy. The motley performances add to the surreal set-up, including Brass Eye’s David Cann as DAD and Eastenders’ Maddy Hill as GIRL - which gives an insight to how wonderfully weird the dinner table scene gets. That and a bloke dancing in a dress always helps.
Oh yeah… there’s something else that’s not right… can you tell what it is?
Ever wondered why the Cat Lady from A Clockwork Orange was so successful before she was "hurt" by Alex?
She was a Catflex Champion.
This is a real life re-enactment of one of her infamous classes to coach up and coming catflex champions in the making.
It get's very catty.
